W.E. Winters Park closes for renovations until end of year

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The City of Tyler announced W.E. Winters Park, formerly Peach Park, is closed until the end of year as part of continued renovations.

According to the city, the park, located at 910 S. Peach Ave, is going to be closed to the public until the end of the year while renovations are being made to improve the playground, restrooms, pavilion and parking lot.

The city said that there will be further renovations made after this phase of construction is completed.

“Additional renovations will be completed at a later stage of development, including adding additional play elements, amenities and renovations to the multipurpose courts,” City of Tyler said.
