Was Trump’s Contour On Point at the Presidential Debate?
He may have become notorious for his curiously orange skin — with some publications coming up with theories, others launching “investigations,” and a great many social media users creating memes — but at Monday’s presidential debate, Donald Trump finally caught some positive reactions to his complexion. Particularly, for his makeup contouring.
“Is it just me or is Trump’s contour on point?” asked professional makeup artist Paulina Perez on Facebook, adding in the comments, “This makeup artist needs to be his permanent artist and needs a raise!” Perez has more than 30,000 followers on her official Facebook and focuses primarily on beautifying brides.
Twitter users were equally abuzz at the impressive Kardashian-esque cosmetics application.
Not gonna lie, Trump’s contour is better than mine

Mr. Trump, who did your contour makeup? #importantdebatequestions #debatenight

The accolades were overwhelming (perhaps Trump learned a thing or two from all those years at the helm of beauty pageants?). They truly became a phenomenon — and a thread of lightheartedness — during the intense debate.

Some users, fixated on Trump’s face, went beyond the contour and coveted everything from his eyeshadow to possible lipstick.

But, of course, the critics came out of the woodwork too.
Someone’s gotta teach Trump how to contour, he’s just got bronzer everywhere

I am not going to comment on Trump’s policies but I will comment on his contour. It’s too much and needs to be blended. ????????????

Someone please tell Trump his highlight and contour isn’t doing him any favors. #debatenight

Trump needs a new makeup artist. They got his contour looking like a carrot #milweedebate
— emma urton (@EmmaUrton) September 27, 2016
Then the contour factor became a debate of its own, of course. Leave it to the never-ending fount of opinions that is Twitter.
Let’s get to what’s really important – whose contour is better tonight? Trump or Hillary? #debatenight
