We’ve all gone through that stage where we swore to our parents we were going to get a bunch of piercings and tattoos once we reached 18. But if you’re like me, and are terrified of needles, you’ve probably chickened out and never followed through. But for her 19th birthday Bella Thorne decided to get a septum piercing, even though it did look rather painful.

Let me set the scene for you! In the beginning of the snapchat video (@bellathornedab) we can see Bella lying down on the table smiling, but then all of a sudden, without any warning, we see the silver needle go right through her nose. After watching her scream “Oh My God” and a tear stream down her face, I’m convinced that I will never get a piercing. But she pulls it off in her next snap proudly showing off the horse-shaped ring.
