WATCH: Drone 11 captures scope of flood damage in Washington County, TN

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — News Channel 11 has captured video from the sky of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Helene.

On Tuesday, Drone 11 flew over parts of Washington County, Tennessee along the Nolichucky River, which swelled to record levels and washed away several bridges.

In the video above, viewers can see damage to the Jackson Bridge and the south side of Jackson Bridge Road.

Drone 11 also took footage of the Nolichucky Valley, where miles of farmland have been effectively ruined and washed out.

The aerial view also shows the storm-pummeled South Central community, which was among the most impacted areas in Tennessee.

Toward the end of the video, the former site of the Bailey Bridge, which is downriver of the Jackson Bridge, can be seen.
