Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will face off at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Sept. 10. This marks the 2024 election cycle’s first presidential debate between this set of Democratic and Republican nominees, following the Biden-Trump presidential debate on June 27 and President Biden dropping out of the race on July 21.

Airing tonight on ABC and other major cable channels, the 90-minute debate will be moderated by ABC News’ Linsey Davis and David Muir. The event will not include a live audience and microphones will only be turned on for the candidate directly answering a question.
This time slot was initially intended for the second presidential debate between Biden and Trump. ABC News was always set to host the event, officially titled ABC News Presidential Debate: Race for the White House.
