Waterfront Park nominated for USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Award for 4th year in a row
For the fourth consecutive year, Louisville's Waterfront Park has been nominated for USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards for "Best Riverwalk."

According to a news release, the park, which sees 2.4 million visitors annually, placed third nationally in the poll in 2023 following Detroit and Tampa.
However, the city wants to bring home the gold this year. Craig Greenberg, Louisville's mayor, said he hopes to win first place in 2024.
“As Louisville’s most visited free attraction, it’s no wonder that Waterfront Park continues to make the list of America’s top riverwalks year after year,” Greenberg said in a statement. “Please join me in voting for Waterfront Park so we can claim the top spot in this year’s contest!”
Over the past 25 years, Louisville's blighted waterfront has transformed into a green urban space home to countless events, concerts, gatherings and more.
