In May, Dawson gave another update to FOX 8 News viewers saying, “The crazy thing is my surgeon said this type of cancer happens in people who chew tobacco, or heavy smokers, or heavy drinkers and I’m none of those. But I found something in my mouth about a year ago.”
Dawson said, he did not follow his dentist’s advice to have a doctor take a closer look and instead another six months passed.

Thursday, Dawson told his Instagram followers that he is celebrating the good news by eating at Cracker Barrel.
