Where are the Trump children during the RNC?
From business to politics, former President Donald Trump has famously appointed his children to high-ranking roles in his ventures.
But this week his daughter, Ivanka, and his wife, Melania, have been noticeably absent during one of the most public moments of Trump's latest presidential campaign. Neither were in the audience Monday night, when Trump was both formally confirmed as the GOP presidential nominee at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee and made his first appearance after surviving an assassination attempt.
Here's what we know about which Trump children will and won't be taking the stage at Fiserv Forum this week.
Will Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner speak at the RNC?
Ivanka was perhaps the most public-facing Trump child during her father's presidency, with both her and her husband, Jared Kushner, serving as senior advisors to the president. Ivanka also spoke at both the 2016 and 2020 RNC, making the case for her father as president and often campaigning on his behalf.
This time around, Ivanka has been far more absent from the campaign trail, releasing a statement in late 2022 that she will be less involved in politics to prioritize her family.
Currently, neither Ivanka nor Jared are on the list of speakers for the convention in Milwaukee. The couple have been absent during the first two nights of the convention but are expected to make an appearance Thursday — the closing night of the RNC when Trump will address delegates.
Over the weekend, Ivanka released a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, following the assassination attempt on her father.
"I continue to pray for our country. I love you Dad, today and always," she wrote.
Thank you for your love and prayers for my father and for the other victims of today's senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania. I am grateful to the Secret Service and all the other law enforcement officers for their quick and decisive actions today. I continue to pray for our…

Will Tiffany Trump speak at the RNC?
Tiffany Trump has been less politically involved than her siblings, but she also spoke at the 2016 and 2020 RNC to campaign for her father.
Tiffany is not currently on the list of speakers for the convention in Milwaukee. However, she was in attendance Monday night, alongside her brothers Eric and Donald Jr., and posted a video of the siblings on the convention floor.
Tiffany, Eric and Donald Jr. are also serving as Florida delegates during the RNC this week.

Will Barron Trump appear at the RNC?
Barron, the former president's youngest son, was also invited to attend the RNC as a Florida delegate alongside his siblings. However, Melania Trump's office issued a statement in May that the 18-year-old would turn down the invitation.
“While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,” his mother's office said.
Barron is not currently scheduled to speak at the convention nor expected to make an appearance in Milwaukee.
Which Trump children are speaking at the RNC?
Though Ivanka, Tiffany and Melania are absent from the convention lineup, plenty of Trump family members will still address delegates at Fiserv Forum this week. Eric and Donald Jr. are scheduled to speak, along with Lara Trump, Eric's wife and co-chair of the Republican National Committee, and Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Jr.'s fiancée.
