'White Christmas' opens at Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center
"White Christmas" opened over the weekend at the Prichard Laughlin Civic Center to packed houses and rounds of applause. The show features local talent, an orchestra and a moving rendition of the popular holiday film starring Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen.
Taking on the role of Bob Wallace is Brent Miller, with his trusty and ornery sidekick, Phil Davis, being played by Jim Whitehair. Anne Chlovechok takes on Rosemary Clooney's iconic Betty Haynes, with Tricia Wurzbach as sister Judy. Dance numbers and songs abound in the show, making for a festive and fun performance.
The show is running this weekend at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center. Tickets are $12 per person and can be reserved by calling 740-439-7009.
