Wisconsin motorcyclist speeds off from traffic stop, leads deputies on high-speed pursuit

(WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say a motorcyclist led them on a pursuit Sunday evening after fleeing from a traffic stop.

According to a release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, deputies conducted a traffic stop sometime Sunday evening as deputies approached the motorcyclist, they allegedly fled from the scene.

Officials say a high-speed pursuit ensued as deputies, along with police officers from the Rice Lake Police Department, followed the suspect motorcyclist throughout the area.

The pursuit was eventually called off due to safety reasons and the Barron County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information about the suspect motorcyclist to contact them at 715-537-3106.
