Woman admits to fatally stabbing boyfriend in 2020

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to fatally stabbing her boyfriend in November 2020, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said.

Charrinda Gray, 49, admitted to stabbing 46-year-old Samuel A. Jackson with a kitchen knife during an argument on the evening of Nov. 19, 2020 at a residence on Heward Avenue.

Police found Jackson outside the home with stab wounds to his abdomen and buttocks. He was taken to ECMC, where he died from his injuries.

Gray pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree manslaughter. She faces up to 15 years in prison when she is sentenced on Jan. 2, 2025. She remains released on $250,000 bond.
