Gwyneth Paltrow may not remember all the movies she’s been in, but she’ll never forget Shallow Hal — as much as she may want to.

In a Netflix video, the Goop queen interviewed her “best friend” and assistant, Kevin Keating, about ... herself. When the Oscar winner asked him what her least favorite performance has been, he said the controversial 2001 film for which the Tracy Anderson Method devotee donned a fat suit to visually triple her weight to play Jack Black’s obese love interest.

During Paltrow’s exchange with Keating, she agreed with his assessment of the film being a bad idea, saying, “Exactly.”

He then went on to say, “I’m not sure who told you to do that one, but wasn’t me. I wasn’t there working for you” as Paltrow blushed and laughed.

She then added, “That was before your time. See what happened? Disaster.”

The film has been called the “most misguided comedy ever made” for its fat-shaming and weight jokes though co-director Peter Farrelly insisted at the time it was “a valentine for overweight people” with its message about inner beauty.

The film was controversial when it came out — not helped by Paltrow giving interviews about feeling “humiliated” while wearing the fat suit in public and discussing how “fat clothes” on the market were unstylish — and has only become more so through the years.

And Paltrow’s opinion on making the film has changed a lot through the years too. When it came out, she called the experience “a lot of fun.”

Paltrow and Keating talked about other things beyond Shallow Hal. He said her favorite performance was at the 2011 Grammys singing "Forget You" with Cee Lo Green.

"Who doesn’t like to see a girl get up on the piano with high heels on? Like, hello! Done," Keating said with Paltrow agreeing, "Done!”

Keating also said that Beyoncé is the most famous person in Paltrow’s contacts — and, yes, they also discussed Goop’s candle inspired by Paltrow’s ladybits.
