Watts and Crudup worked together on Netflix's Gypsy. The short-lived TV series followed Watts as a psychologist and Crudup as her onscreen husband.

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup have continued to build a strong foundation in their romance over the years.

The couple met in 2017, one year after Watts and Liev Schreiber ended their 11-year relationship. The exes share sons Sasha and Kai.

At the time, Watts addressed where she stood with Schreiber. “I’m single. I’m coparenting,” she told Vogue Australia in 2017. “There are good days and bad days. Liev and I are on great terms and we’re trying to do our absolute best for the sake of the children, and we hope to keep moving forward in that way.”

Watts and Crudup, meanwhile, sparked dating speculation while they promoted their Netflix series, Gypsy. A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the new relationship didn't affect how Watts was coparenting with Schreiber, noting that the former couple were "on great terms."

Crudup, for his part, shares a son with ex Mary-Louise Parker. The pair split while she was six months pregnant, with Crudup leaving Parker for Claire Danes in 2003. Crudup and Danes dated for four years before calling it quits in 2006.
