This House Is Literally One Big Playground

Having four kids can make you do things you perhaps never thought you would: Like, owning enough skateboards for every kid on the block, or spending weekends camped out on the soccer field for a quadruple-header. And for one family in Thailand, a large brood of energetic children led them to work with architecture firm Onion to design the playground house of their dreams.

Much like a space you might rent out for eighth birthday parties or a Girl Scout field trip, this house allows you to totally let loose and explore. Slides and nets meant for for jumping (and falling) allow the family to travel between floors, and bedrooms are outfitted with secret tunnels and hideaway holes.
The designers aimed to build a home that was reminisicent of the cat-and-mouse antics of 1940s Tom and Jerry cartoons, DesignBoom reports. Well, we’re not sure if Tom and Jerry are the epitome of playtime safety (one was trying to eat the other, after all), but under watchful parental eyes, this home could be a welcome escape for any cooped-up family.
