Long-time league insider Adrian Wojnarowski announced his retirement on Wednesday morning, stunning sports fans everywhere just two weeks before training camps opened across the league.

Wojnarowski will remain in the sports world, however, as he returns to his alma mater St. Bonaventure to serve as the general manager of the men's basketball team.

Brooklyn Nets make a 'Clean Sweep'

NBA free agency was set to open at 6 p.m. ET on June 30, 2019. Two hours earlier the biggest moves had already been announced with Woj tweeting out the Brooklyn Nets had signed arguably the three biggest names on the market at the time: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan.
