Bengals training camp breakout candidate scores another huge TD
Cincinnati Bengals fans might get a little deja vu with this one -- running back Chase Brown looks fantastic in training camp right now.
Brown did it again recently in one of the first padded practices, ripping off a huge touchdown run around the edge in team drills, as seen in footage from Charlie Clifford of WLWT.
Again, this is hardly the first time Brown has done this early in training camp.
It's yet another sign that Brown could be headed for big things as a sophomore. Last year, he was on the way to a much bigger role on the field before an untimely injury dashed his momentum. Upon his return, though, it was clear that the sheer speed and versatility he brought to the offense were a big deal.
While the Bengals did add Zack Moss via free agency this offseason and like the similar versatility the veteran provides, it seems clear -- so far, anyway -- that Brown could end up leading the backfield in touches.
Brown's ability to give the Bengals a more dynamic, explosive backfield could be hard for opposing defenses to contain while also attempting to keep track of JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins at wideout -- just ask the Bengals defense so far this summer.
Big run for Chase Brown in 11 on 11s.
