Betting: Will Cavs upset Lakers tonight?

Jared Quay gives his picks for the Kings-Pelicans and Cavaliers-Lakers games on the NBA slate for Friday October 29.

JARED QUAY: Jared Quay here ready for some Friday night NBA action. I got two games that I love. Up first, I got the Sacramento Kings minus 2 against the Pelicans tonight. Yes, it is their fourth game on the road, but this team just beat the Suns team on a buzzer-beater. And I think the Pelicans just can't score points. They're really missing Zion. Yes, Brandon Ingram is trying to keep it up. But they're 27th in the league, only averaging 100 points per game. Meanwhile, this Kings team has some ballers. They're so deep that Marvin Bagley isn't even in the rotation. With all that being said, I love the Kings minus 2 tonight.

Up next, I got everyone's favorite team, Los Angeles Lakers, taking on the Cavaliers at home. Now I know LeBron may be playing tonight, but I'm still fading the Lakers until they stop making me money right now. Clearly, this team is overvalued because of name brand right now because they just blew a 26-point lead to the youngest team in the NBA. Plus, this Cavs team has some ballers. They got Ricky Rubio, who's picking up a second wind. And they got some young bulls, Sexton, Garland, Mobley, and Allen. I think this Cavs team should be able to keep it closer than 7 points.

So to recap, I'm taking the Kings minus 2 and the Cavs plus 7. And if you want to get on the NBA action tonight, take advantage of our risk-free bet for new users up to $1,000. Go to BetMGM.com/yahoo.
