Check out the rushing, passing and receiving leaders in the BNC, NUIC after two weeks

Week 2 was another exciting weekend of football action for the Big Northern Conference and in the NUIC, with some surprises as well as some big performances.

The NUIC stars have been shining early on. Running back Alec Schlichting rushed for 287 yards on 14 carries in Lena-Winslow's second straight win to start the season, which is the most by any running back in the Rockford area so far this year. That was after Durand/Pecatonica's Cooper Hoffman went 17-for-20 for 262 yards with three touchdown passes in Week 1, still the best game through the air in the area. Hoffman was 11-for-18 for 134 yards this past week.
