The New England Patriots showed off a new entrance in Thursday's preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Under former coach Bill Belichick, the team was known for entering games to the tunes of "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff and "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne.

However, under first-year head coach Jerod Mayo, the team changed things up with Aerosmith's "Dream On" and Trick Daddy's "Let's Go."

This is the first game in the last 24 years that Belichick hasn't been the team's head coach. It's also the year following one of the worst seasons in franchise history. The Patriots finished with a 4-13 record last season, which put them in position to select at No. 3 overall in the 2024 NFL draft.

The Patriots are hoping to put the struggles of last year in the past and set the stage for a better future.

New walkout music, coach, quarterbacks, and receivers—there's no denying it's a new era in New England.
