NEO A&M Men’s Soccer Tops Crowder 1-0 in Season Opener
MIAMI, OK — NEO men’s soccer took down Crowder in their season opener on Thursday night 1-0.
The game started with several close chances at net. NEO’s Pelayo Suarez took a free kick from outside the box, but was stopped by a great save.
Towards the end of the first half, striker Joshua Harvey fired a shot off the crossbar with just 13 seconds remaining. Crowder goalkeeper Harrison Ennis would make several key saves in the game, as the Norsemen offense kept him on his toes all night long.
NEO ended up getting the better of Crowder in this game, however, winning it 1-0.
Up next, NEO plays host to North Arkansas College on Tuesday, August 27th at 7 p.m. and Crowder will host Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday, August 24th at 2 p.m.
