Patrick Beverley, Anthony Edwards exchange jerseys after Sixers loss

Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley and Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards have a good relationship from their days as teammates in Minnesota. Beverley had a lot of praise for Edwards heading into the matchup and they have mutual admiration.

Edwards has established himself as one of the rising stars in the NBA. He’s averaging 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists while shooting 46.7% from the floor and 38.9% from deep. Beverley and Edwards spent the 2021-22 season together helping Minnesota make a playoff appearance.

After the Sixers fell to the Timberwolves 112-99 on Wednesday night, both Beverley and Edwards exchanged jerseys and Beverley shared the video on his Instagram story along with some love for the budding superstar.

Beverley and the Sixers will now look to move on following the loss to the Wolves. They will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday to complete a quick two-game road trip and look to put a stop to their current two-game losing skid.
