SouthCoast high school playoff scores and highlights from Wednesday, Nov. 2

Here's a look at the scores and highlights from Wednesday's high school action on the SouthCoast.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Apponequet 3, East Boston 0

The No. 28 Lakers beat 37th-seeded East Boston 25-18, 25-13, 25-4 in the Div. 3 preliminary round. Senior libero Lacie Nolin had two kills, three digs and two aces with 12 service points. Senior defensive specialist Elizabeth Ashley had 14 service points with six aces. Senior middle hitter Samantha Dingee contributed two kills, one block, three digs, and six aces with 14 service points. Apponequet (8-13) will visit No. 5 Old Rochester (14-6) on Friday at 4 p.m. in first round action. The Bulldogs swept the Lakers in the regular season.
