Spartanburg area football top performers for Week 10, led by Jaylen McGill's 4 touchdowns
The last week of regular season South Carolina high school football saw yet another excellent round of games in the Upstate with region championships won, playoff spots clinched and phenomenal individual performances.
Here are the Week 10 top performers from games involving Spartanburg area teams.
RB Jaylen McGill, Broome: In a 38-35 loss to Chapman, McGill had 22 carries for 155 yards with three touchdowns. He also returned a kick for a TD.

RB David Segarra III, Byrnes: In a 33-21 win over Gaffney, Segarra ran for 61 yards with one touchdown on 15 carries. He also caught two passes for 20 yards with another TD.
QB Andrew Stevens, Byrnes: On 13-of-22 passing, Stevens threw for 243 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
ATH Armoni Weaver, Byrnes: Weaver caught two passes for 111 yards with one touchdown — that went for 71 yards and sealed the win for the Rebels.
QB Coleman Gray, Chapman: In a 38-35 win over Broome for the Panthers' seventh straight region title, Gray ran for 135 yards with two touchdowns on 17 carries. On 12-of-13 passing, he threw for 112 yards.
RB Keanu Na, Chapman: On 13 carries, Na ran for 115 yards. He also had an 8-yard catch.
RB Mathai Scott, Chapman: Scott had 19 runs for 161 yards with three touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 13 yards.
WR Tra’Von Fernandez, Dorman: In a 35-14 loss at Spartanburg in the "City Rivalry" game, Fernandez had seven receptions for 47 yards with a touchdown.
WR K.D. Hainsworth, Dorman: Hainsworth had 10 receptions for 91 yards.
QB Trey Burke, Spartanburg: On 15-of-20 passing, Burke threw for 203 yards with a touchdown.
RB Trenton Lynch, Spartanburg: Lynch had 14 carries for 171 yards with two touchdowns, one of which was a 78-yard run.
WR Justin Rice, Spartanburg: Rice had five receptions for 83 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown.
DB Kaleb Williams, Spartanburg: Williams returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown.
RB Aiden Gibson, Woodruff: In the Wolverines' 59-40 win against Union County, Gibson scored four touchdowns with 230 all-purpose yards.
WR Kori Moates, Woodruff: Moates had 319 all-purpose yards.
QB TJ Morris, Woodruff: Morris threw five touchdown passes.
