Surprise Chelsea defender now considering his future as interest comes in for him
We have heard absolutely zero rumours about this player all summer long really so far, but he’s also yet to feature at all under new head coach Enzo Maresca.
That could now perhaps become quite telling if the latest reports are to be true.

However, Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has also had surgery on an injury recently, so you’d suspect that is probably going to be much more likely as to why he hasn’t played yet.
But even so, his future has now been thrown up into the air and he is the subject of the latest story suggesting a Chelsea player could be sold in the remaining weeks of this transfer window.
Disasi considers future
The French centre back is now considering his Chelsea future according to The Daily Mail this week.
They report that Disasi is attracting interest from France and Italy as he considers his future.
There will be some question marks over whether Disasi can play the style of football that Maresca wants to see. He’s a very solid defender, but Chelsea fans have raised questions about him on the ball already, and Maresca’s style is possession-based and plenty of quick one-touch passing.
Chelsea also have a lot of centre backs currently and even though Trevoh Chalobah is still expected to leave, it’s hard to see Disasi getting a look in and you can understand why he is reportedly now looking at his future and pondering a move away from the club.
It’s not clear if Chelsea would sell him at this point.
