VOTE: Citizen Times and Times-News fall sports Week 4 boys athlete of the week

It's time to look back and vote on the top performances from boys athletes in Western North Carolina last week.

Avery Hollifield, Asheville Christian Academy: Hollifield completed 46-of-76 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns in the Lions' 42-35 loss to Covenant Day.

Benjamin Kessinger, Brevard: Kessinger completed all seven of his pass attempts for 169 yards and three touchdowns in Brevard's 56-14 win over North Buncombe.

Declan Szostczuk, Christ School: The junior delivered four goals and an assist for the Greenies in a 9-0 win over East Henderson.

Caden Ingle, Erwin: Ingle completed 13-of-23 passes for 239 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 27-21 win over West Henderson.

Danny Brown, McDowell: Brown was 5-for-9 passing for 137 yards and a touchdown and ran for 110 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. McDowell beat Avery County 49-21.

Caleb Cook, Mitchell: Cook completed 10-of-15 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Mountaineers to a 35-34 win over Andrews. He also rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.

Davis Kendall, Owen: Kendall delivered four goals for the Warhorses in a 9-0 mercy rule win against Draughn. He also scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Smoky Mountain.

Carl Baird, Swain County: Baird took first place at the Bulldog XC Open in Murphy, finishing in 15:45.82.
