Adele Is Proving She’s Truly British And Only Wearing Burberry On Tour

A singer as beloved (and famous) as Adele must have designers begging to dress her, but the 27-year-old will only be wearing one brand on tour: Burberry.
The quintessentially British brand has a history of helping boost the careers of musicians - it’s casted the likes of Jake Bugg, George Ezra and Tom Odell to provide the musical accompaniment at its catwalk shows - and has been one of Adele’s favourite labels since she hit the big time.
She’s donned both custom-made and ready-to-wear dresses from Burberry at a number of red carpet events, from the X to the X, and kick-started her world tour in Belfast last night wearing a heavily embellished number from the brand.

Burberry’s CEO Christopher Bailey designed the gown especially for the singer himself - and announced that the brand would be dressing her exclusively for the 100-date tour.
“It is a huge privilege to work with Adele,” says Bailey. “She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance.”
The brand posted a drawing of the long-sleeved and midi-length dress on Instagram, in addition to a photo of Adele wearing the floral sequin-covered number.
