Actress Amanda Bynes was apparently caught stealing a pricey hat from Barneys department store in New York City yesterday. Some reports have claimed that she grabbed the $200 hat — a fancy cashmere beanie courtesy of the Elder Statesmen — to shield herself from a mob of fans. Though this isn’t the former Nickelodeon star’s first brush with the law, we’re a little stumped she didn’t just actually pay for something a bit cheaper.
