Ariana Grande Pranced Around in the Most Massive Giambattista Valli Dress
The petite girl that she is, it would be easy for Ariana Grande to get lost in a piece of clothing. But let’s not forget what a powerhouse she is as well, which is why she doesn’t drown in a massive Giambattista Valli gown.
The singer posted a video on Instagram of herself walking down a hallway in an oversized gown with too many layers and ruffles trailing behind her to count. The dress was so immense, it filled the entire hallway, hitting both walls.
The video was black and white so we cannot tell the color of the Giambattista Valli Haute Couture 11 gown, but we’ve seen enough to know it’s pretty impressive and not easy to pull off — which we can tell Grande did, even though we only saw her wearing it from behind. You’d have to have a lot of confident and composure to not drown in a dress like that.

Grande has a penchant for gowns that try to swallow her whole. Just a few hours before posting the video, she shared an image of her sitting down in a dark gown that looked like a pile of tulle spilling out around her — in a breathtaking way.
It looks like the wine-colored number from the Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2016 collection. Behind her hung two more huge gowns, one white and one metallic.
These gowns are a complete departure from the Giambattista Valli frock Grande rocked in the past. The singer wore the designer to the 2015 American Music Awards, in the form of a white, pink, and black mini-dress.
Maybe wearing these voluminous dresses despite her small frame is her way of showing the public that has the strength to overcome anything.
