Ariel Winter Wore the Same Sexy $110 Dress as Jennifer Lopez

When it comes to late night appearance apparel, Jennifer Lopez and Ariel Winter have the same taste. Winter was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night wearing the same dress that Lopez wore for The Late Late Show With James Corden on May 4. And it was a very memorable dress. (Awkward.)

The dress in question: a jeweled midi dress from MESHKI. The name should give it away: It’s a silver layer of mesh over a silver bodysuit. It has spaghetti straps and a V-neck. Both ladies wore it with silver strappy heels and minimal jewelry. Even their hairstyles were similar: slicked back. However, Winter’s was loose and Lopez’s was pulled into a tight ponytail.

The extremely popular dress is only $110. At that price, everyone will be wearing it soon.

Funnily enough, Winter ranted on Instagram on May 4 about the flak she gets for the unique way she dresses, saying, “Why TF does anyone care that I didn’t dress casual like everyone else for the panel?” she wrote, referring to a Modern Family panel at which Winter was dressed for a night out on the town, while co-stars were dressed for business meetings or a Sunday brunch. “Why do I have to be like everyone else?”

And you know what? Winter is right. She doesn’t.

Twinning with Lopez aside, it doesn’t matter what Winter wears or who she dresses like, as long as she feels like herself. But we have a feeling people are going to judge her for dressing like J.Lo, and we know what she’ll say to that: “When I dress uniquely, I get criticized; when I dress like other people, I get criticized.” And she’d be right. There’s no winning.

Both stars even posted similar pictures in the silver dress, posing with signs while taping.

Looks like Winter has a new fashion idol.
