At Balmain’s Epic After Party, Kris Jenner Parties Harder Than Her Daughter

Dear Millennials:

We regret to inform you that your asses have been handed to you… by someone who turns 60 next month. Kris Jenner, the world’s most famous Momager, the woman can party like a rockstar. Balmain’s chandelier-shaking party, held Thursday night at the old school French restaurant Laperouse, offered proof. (And we do mean “old school” literally: It was built in 1766, making it ten years older than America itself.)

Kris arrived with her new BFF Jada Pinkett Smith around 11 pm and promptly hit the dance floor with designer Olivier Rousteing, getting down to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella.”  She stayed there until nearly 3 am, when the restaurant staff finally flipped on all the lights. (Oops?)

As for l’autre Jenner, 19-year-old Kendall, she arrived at midnight with Lily Donaldson, Lily Aldridge, and Lily Tomlin (ok, two out of three…) and promptly left the scene an hour later after wisely deeming the party “just crazy.” (Perhaps she also wanted to avoid watching her mom get down to Kriss Kross’ “Jump” and knowing all the words—though frankly, this was a spectacular sight.)

According to one bartender, there were over 100 bottles of champagne on hand and yet, the party kept on going long after it ran out. Well played, Mr. Rousteig!
