Beyoncé Wore The Same Gucci Gown As Lupita Nyong'o and Nobody Noticed
While our jaws were busy dropping over Beyoncé and Blue Ivy's coordinating Gucci dresses at this weekend's premiere of Beauty and The Beast, we missed one minor detail: we've already seen Bey's emerald gown once before.
More specifically, we've seen it on Lupita Nyong'o at Cannes Film Festival back in 2015. The Oscar-winning actress memorably twirled in the same Gucci gown at Cannes, creating some serious red carpet gold.
Almost two years later, Beyoncé put her own twist on the look-proving it makes the perfect maternity dress, too. While Lupita accessorized her gown with drop earrings, Bey instead opted for ornate, stone hoop earrings.
Don't worry though, Bey still did her best twirl while wearing the gown too:
Before you ask, the inevitable "who wore it better?" question is really irrelevant here, seeing as both women completely slayed the look-no question about it.
