Record-breaking Beyoncé proves why she's Queen B in three iconic Grammy Award outfits
Only one person (in the world, really) could get away with being late to an awards show. Beyoncé got caught in Los Angeles traffic on Sunday evening, but arrived at the Crypto.com arena to win three different Grammy Awards, taking her into record-breaking territory as the most decorated artist in Grammys history.
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, 41, took home the trophy for best dance/electronic music album award for her house music-sampling album Renaissance, the star’s 32nd Grammy Award, at this year’s ceremony,
The legend – who will head to the UK later this year as part of her Renaissance World Tour – also took home the gongs for best R&B song, best dance/electronic recording and best traditional R&B performance, taking her one ahead of the previous record holder, Hungarian-British orchestral and operatic conductor, Sir Georg Solti.

But, of course, it wasn’t the only area of expertise that Queen B succeeded in. The mother-of-three won in the style stakes, too, with not one, but three different outfits.
The former Destiny’s Child band member, arrived at the awards ceremony (fashionably late, of course) in a silver and gold strapless dress.

She styled her long golden brown locks in a mermaid-wave style, and accessorised with a pair of black leather opera gloves.
The award-winning artist later slipped into a custom structured black velvet gown by Schiaparelli midway through the celebrations, and switched her leather elbow-length gloves for a matching velvet pair.
But before she’d even arrived at the star-studded awards ceremony, Queen Bey had tried on her most iconic outfit of the evening.

Queen B appeared to have her own photoshoot at home, before she even left for the awards ceremony, displaying her third outfit of the evening on social media.
Posting the third ensemble on Instagram, Beyoncé channelled the Grammy Award gong itself in a pink velvet Balmain look, complete with flat gold hat which looked like the gramophone horn after which the trophy is mirrored.
“We won 3 y’all!” she commented, sharing the images of the outfit to her 294 million Instagram followers, before thanking those involved with her now award-winning album, Renaissance.

The pale pink velvet look, complete with pink velvet leggings, platform heels and gloves, featured a plunging gold breast plate beneath corset-style bodice at the waist, which rose up into a structured extended cape.
A pair of sparking embellished sunglasses and larger-than-life chandelier earrings finished off the look.
“It feels great to be honored [sic] for the vocal performance,” she added in her post. “Thank you to all the talented vocalists who killed those beautiful TikTok renditions!”
“I feel very grateful and filled with joy!”
