Blake Lively Steps Out Post-Pregnancy in Tight White Dress

Blake Lively's been lying low since giving birth to her daughter Violet James just before the New Year (most likely nesting in Bedford, New York, DIY-ing for Preserve, and sending messages via drone back and forth with her neighbor Martha Stewart). But on Thursday, the actress left the suburbs and made her way into Manhattan to shine her golden glow on New York Fashion Week in her oh-so Blake Lively way.
In town to take in Gabriela Cadena’s fashion show — if you don’t know the designer yet, you should — the 27-year-old wore a white body-con dress with black paneling from Cadena’s collection, paired with white strappy Christian Louboutin heels, an eye-popping yellow clutch, and a black coat draped over her shoulders (the only way anyone wears coats during fashion week).
Interestingly enough, our own Yahoo Style editors were at the show, and while they noticed Paris Hilton, Adriana Lima, and blogger Danielle Bernstein, they didn’t see Lively in the front row (and they’re seasoned celebrity fashion show stalkers so they would have noticed an A-lister). Cadena’s presentation took place on the 64th floor of One World Trade Center so maybe the Gossip Girl star got stuck in the elevator, or the island’s traffic held her up. Regardless, she managed to show up for the photo op, which everyone knows is the most important part anyway. Who cares about the clothes?
