Bollywood star Kajol unveils her first wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore
Kajol’s wax figure is the newest addition to the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards Experience zone at Madame Tussauds Singapore, where fans are able to re-live the glamour of Bollywood awards ceremonies.
She joins other Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor.
Kajol is one of India’s most successful and highest-paid actresses who has won many awards for her roles in Hindi cinema.
A professional Madame Tussauds sculpting team took five months to create the wax figure of the 43-year-old actress. The dress Kajol’s figure is wearing was one of her famous red carpet look in 2017.
“I was really impressed with the amount of work that went into it… from the texture of the hair to the 20 eyeballs to choose from, it was really really detailed and I hope that all that hard work is definitely going to be worth it,” said Kajol, who was Singapore for the unveiling ceremony with her daughter, Nysa, on 24 May.
