Cara Delevingne Clowns Around in Berlin (Literally)

With her silly faces and party girl antics, Cara Delevingne has earned something of a reputation for being the clown of the fashion world. And now, she seems to be taking that literally.

When the 22-year-old model/actress, currently on a world tour promoting her upcoming film, Paper Towns, popped up outside of a TV studio in Berlin, Tuesday, she looked a little… different. In place of her typically cool, tomboy-athleisure street style attire, Delevingne piled it on, accessorizing her micro shorts, folkloric vest, and stiletto Sophia Webster boots with rosy glitter glasses, a red clown nose, cat ears, a clown’s bow (worn as a headband), a rainbow lei, sparkly peace and dollar-sign pendants, and plastic peace sign bracelet. Something tells us Miley Cyrus would approve.

While it’s unclear what inspired her unique ensemble, we’d in no way be surprised to hear that Delevingne’s recently been indulging in some old Elton John concert DVDs.

Hey, we all knew this whole minimalist fashion movement would implode at some point. And Delevingne is quite the trendsetter, after all… Perhaps Bozo the Clown-chic is the next big thing?
