Designer Christian Siriano Married His Longtime Love Saturday (And It Was Beautiful)
It’s safe to say that the wedding of Christian Siriano and his partner, musician Brad Walsh, was fierce and flawless.
The lovable 30-year-old designer, who won the fourth season of Project Runway — and the hearts of reality-TV lovers in the process — got hitched at a star-studded bash this weekend at the couple’s country home in Danbury, Conn. Celebrity guests included Alicia Silverstone, Kelly Osbourne, and Christina Hendricks.
Orange Is The New Black stars Jackie Cruz and Danielle Brooks served as groomswomen, and actress Kristen Johnson officiated at the ceremony, according to an exclusive obtained by BRIDES.

The prolific designer’s career took off after his TV win, and his couture outfits have been seen on red carpets at events ranging from the Grammys to the Oscars. Among the stars he’s dressed are Taylor Swift, Rosario Dawson, and even Project Runway host Heidi Klum. Fittingly, he recently designed a line of wedding dresses for the famed New York City bridal shop Kleinfeld.
The fashion-forward couple arrived at their nuptials in matching custom all-black David Hart suits, while guests were asked to wear all white. All 12 groomswomen wore white gowns designed by Siriano. Clearly, white was the theme of the evening — including the table linens, candles, and flowers.
“Since there was no bride, we wanted our best friends to wear white gowns, all from Christian Siriano, of course, as they stood by our sides during the ceremony,” the grooms said in a statement to Brides.com. “Then it became a fun idea for the whole event to be a white wedding.”
The event itself, though — just like Siriano — was quite colorful, with lots of dancing, laughing, and even songs belted out by singer/groomswoman Brooks (who plays Taystee on OITNB). Walsh changed out of his dark suit for the reception, donning a kitschy Hawaiian shirt for the festivities.
In a post-wedding photo on Instagram, Walsh flashes his ring for the camera alongside the caption, “Today I woke up hungover and married.” No word yet on where the couple is honeymooning, but no doubt Siriano will get the relaxing “vacay” he always longed for when he was a Project Runway contestant.
