Comedian's Nude Photo Shoot With Son Sparks Outrage
Comedian and Internet personality Jess Hilarious recently shared photos of a nude photoshoot featuring her preschooler son, which ignited a flurry of comments that were sexist and hateful in nature. The controversy surrounding the photo moved former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas and comedian Corey Holcomb to both chime in via their respective social media networks.
The photo, featuring Hilarious and her boy in matching Air Jordan sneakers, was not unlike some of the recent shots of Beyoncé in the buff when she announced her pregnancy with twins via Instagram. But Holcomb and Arenas took umbrage at the images, with the former player writing a lengthy response on Instagram in how there would be an “uproar of disgust” if a man posed nude with his child.
Holcomb was more succinct in his response, tweeting the photo and captioning it with the following:
“This is a part of what’s wrong with black America! These whores want their sons to be bitches. F***ing disgusting.”
But as the kids say, Jess had time today and responded with a video response (NSFW due to language) filled with the types of insults that Holcomb has become known for with his racy standup routines and social media posts. She called Holcomb unfunny and an “out-of-shape” Shaquille O’Neal lookalike, and the insults just inspired more of Holcomb’s usual venom.
“If a naked man is holding his 5 year old daughter on top of himself in a pic the s*** would a national crisis. Keep talking dumb hoes,” tweeted Holcomb Saturday night.
But fans of Hilarious sided with her and tweeted out their support for her stance and clap back. Others, including the highly followed Shade Room Instagram account pointed out double standards within the controversy, showing examples of similar photos of Caucasian women with their children that did not seem to inspire such vocal ire from onlookers.

‘The fact that Corey Holcomb called Jess a whore & implied her son might grow up as a B**ch is what’s wrong w/ some of you black men,” tweeted one fan on Friday.
Both Hilarious and Holcomb’s war of words has simmered down in the last day or so, but Hilarious made mention that she will soon be making an appearance on MTV’s Wild ’N Out comedy series — where Holcomb is a regular — in which she’ll surely have more barbs for her rivals.
