Courteney Cox is making her directorial debut with Just Before I Go, a movie starring Sean William Scott and Kate Walsh (aka Stifler and Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery Sheppard). To support the film’s premiere, her 10-year-old daughter Coco Arquette—who looked like the coolest girl in school wearing distressed baggy jeans, a shaggy polka dot sweater, teal strappy heels, and a red statement lip—fiancé Johnny McDaid, her ex-husband David Arquette, and his new wife Christina McLarty.

For the occasion, the 50-year-old wore a cleavage-baring scarlet red suede dress. The quarter-sleeve sheath featured leather detailing on the deep V and she accessorized with a simple gold bracelet and chain gold earrings. If looking much younger than her birth certificate states wasn’t enough to help her through the most likely stressful night, her real life best friend Jennifer Aniston was on hand to lend support.

As any true companion knows, it’s important to let the other person have the spotlight on their special moments. Aniston, whose hair can distract just about everyone, dressed appropriately subtle in a black blazer dress, knee-high black boots, tights, and simple gold earrings. She even threw on aviator glasses in an apparent attempt to distract from her innate attractiveness. If that’s not a sign of a true friend, I don’t know what its.
