Keira Knightley, Salma Hayek, & Their Wacky Golden Globes Accessories

Celebrities spend endless hours getting ready for the big night. They employ stylists, designers, seamstresses, makeup artists, etc to make them sparkle on the red carpet. Still, one errant accessory can send an entire look into disarray. While we expect nothing less than from Bill Murray, who topped off his tux with a quirky hat and a black-and-gold bow tie, we're not so sure about Kiera Knightley's butterfly bag. Worn with a matching dress (from Chanel’s Pre-Fall collection), the bag was overkill. (As was your cane, Prince! We’ve seen you move, you don’t need it.) Perhaps the most curious accessory was Amal Clooney’s oversized opera gloves. We love the Dior dress, but are not sure why those were necessary. Her husband joked that she sewed them herself, and it kind of looked like it. Next Golden Globes, we think celebrities should follow the advice of Coco Chanel: "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off."
