Fashion Week Is Reportedly Boycotting Donald Trump’s Modeling Agency
While retailers continue to drop Trump-branded goods, New York Fashion Week is taking things one step further, and allegedly boycotting Trump-affiliated models.
Reports have started circulating that stylists and casting directors are making it known that they won’t work with anyone associated with Trump Model Management.
Though one anonymous casting director is taking a page straight out of the Trump-style burn book, saying, “It’s not a great agency, so it’s not such a big loss.”
The Trump Model Management Twitter feed, however, indicates that several of its models have walked in some smaller New York Fashion Week shows.

It’s far from the first time that the agency has taken heat from the industry. Late this summer, news broke that Trump Model Management allegedly brought foreign models to the U.S. to work illegally without the proper visas necessary for such work, helped models avoid compliance with immigration laws, and housed models in tenement-like dorms while charging them exorbitant rent prices.
And First Lady Melania Trump, herself a former model with Trump Model Management, also allegedly worked in the U.S. as a model without the appropriate visa.
