Nile Rodgers You may recognize this performer from Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” music video, where he shreds the guitar. The former founder of ‘70s disco group Chic, Rodgers walked the Grammy’s red carpet looking cool while tossing up peace signs in an arty, printed suit.

The Grammys red carpet hosted out-of-the-box fashion from Madonna’s Givenchy haute couture look to Bad Gal Riri’s luffa-puff gown. Though the girls weren’t the only ones taking the event by storm. Some guys also showed up in outrageous looks that defied traditional Grammy’s dress code—the typical black, navy, or grey suit. Pharrell pulled out all the stops, as usual, with a sporty take on a tuxedo that actually lit up in all white when camera flashes would hit, while John Waters, whose wacky antics translated into an eccentric jacket with purple sneakers to match.
