Jennifer Lawrence: ‘Nobody Can Say No to Anna Wintour’
Who better to co-chair one of the biggest fashion events of the year? Obviously, the actress who can charm the pants off of anyone. Jennifer Lawrence, wearing Dior Couture (which means it was made for her — the girl knows what she’s talking about!) spoke with Joe Zee on the Met Gala red carpet about her responsibilities.

Asked what the process was like working with Vogue and Anna Wintour, Lawrence replied: “There wasn’t really much of a process. She emailed me so I just wrote back, ‘Yes,’ because she’s Anna Wintour and nobody can say no to Anna Wintour.” Truer words have never been spoken. How else do you explain the annual exhibition’s continued significance?
