Jennifer Lopez Goes '70s Glam in Pink Pajamas

Jennifer Lopez is currently a tour de force in the fashion department. While promoting her new film, The Boy Next Door, the star’s ensembles have garnered more attention than the film itself. On Monday night she made a pit stop on Jimmy Fallon in metallic pink palazzo pants paired with a pink blouse. To keep warm, she topped the monochromatic look off with a matching pink fur jacket.

The whole look screams ’70s, which is very of the moment, yet something is a bit off. The bell bottoms and fuzzy coat make her look like a extra on the set of Saturday Night Fever, while the pants remind us of pajama bottoms (her pair really actually are and they’re from Solace London), and the luxe oversized pink pelt looks like something borrowed from Burt Reynolds’s home rather than an article of clothing.

J.Lo, we know that you’re a fashion maverick. But maybe stick to your sexier ensembles. Head-to-toe pink is perfect for a Pepto-Bismol bottle but not much else. Although, props to her for taking a risk in something more fashion-forward and editorial than her usual tight, sexy, and skin-baring outfits.
