When Kate Middleton got engaged to Prince William, not only did she literally fulfill a fairytale but she wore the dream dress to match. The Issa London piece sold out instantly and spawned plenty of knockoffs, becoming the first documented instance of the Kate Middleton Effect. Now, a royal wedding and two kids later, it finally returned to the racks — but not for very long.

In July, department store Harvey Nichols announced that it was bringing back the “Phylis” dress, made of navy silk jersey featuring a wrap-effect neck, pleated front, waist ties, and flared skirt, which was first seen on the Duchess of Cambridge. To announce her impending betrothal to the young heir to the throne, Middleton posed alongside her now-husband in the State Apartments of St. James Palace on November 16, 2010 in London, England. She seemingly selected the ensemble to match the sapphire and diamond sparkler newly adorning her ring finger, which once belonged to William’s mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The dressed proved to be so popular that Banana Republic produced a replica dress in 2013 with the help of Issa London designer Daniella Issa Helayel.

The Duchess’s sartorial sway on women the world over is so strong that it comes as no surprise that the reissued £575 ($898.44) frock quickly flew off the shelves again in all its available sizes, from a UK 8 to 14. But now, it’s back again—Harvey Nics just emailed its loyal customers to alert them that the iconic frock can now be theirs, once again!
