Kate Upton’s Promoting Her Bikini Cover in a Very Prim Dress

For the third time, model and actress Kate Upton is the cover star of Sports Illustrated‘s annual Swimsuit edition. The 24-year-old, who rose to fame through her debut for the magazine in 2011, followed by 2012 and 2013 cover appearances, recently revealed her latest cover photo looks.

Upton posted an image of the three racy shots, expressing in the caption her appreciation at being picked to front the 2017 edition. “Wow, I feel so honored and excited to be back with Sports Illustrated!” she wrote. “Thank you @si_swimsuit and @mj_day for inviting me to be part of an issue that features and celebrates beauty and confidence in every shape and size #siswim17 #grateful.”

In true SI Swimsuit fashion, the model is seen posing topless in two photos — decked out in jewelry in one, sporting a barely-there swimsuit in the other — while wearing an unbuttoned printed top on the third cover.

Ironically enough, Upton opted for a more proper blue-and-white shift dress to promote her cover appearance during a visit to NBC’s Today show on Wednesday morning.

She completed her look with a slicked-back bun and black pumps.

On the press day, she also posted images of herself alongside other models featured in the Swimsuit edition, including 63-year-old Christie Brinkley, who poses alongside her daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook in the issue.

She described Brinkley as an “inspiration” in her Instagram caption. Upton also posed alongside fellow SI Swimsuit edition model Hannah Davis, who is expecting her first child with baseball legend Derek Jeter.
