Katie Holmes loves to wear Jamie Foxx's sunglasses
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have denied a romantic relationship, but a pair of $30 sunglasses tells a different story.
Holmes has been photographed all over New York City wearing a pair of “The Socialite” blue-tinted shades from Privé Revaux — Jamie Foxx’s affordable-eyewear brand in which he’s a partner — along with fellow celebs Hailee Steinfeld, Ashley Benson, and Jeremy Piven.
Could it be the modern-day equivalent of wearing someone’s letter jacket? Who knows, but speculation about Foxx and Holmes’s so-called affair has been endless.
The rumors began in 2013 when the pair were photographed at an event in East Hampton, N.Y., where they (along with Ellen DeGeneres) danced to the song “Blurred Lines.” At the time, Foxx denied the relationship, telling ET, “[The rumors] are 100 percent not true. In fact, it’s quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people.”
Still, the pair are close — they reportedly spent New Year’s together in Florida and were spotted “holding hands while walking near the pool” at Soho Beach House in Miami. “They’re very serious,” a source told US magazine.
And in May, according to People, Holmes flew to Paris to spend time with Foxx, who was in the City of Light to shoot his upcoming film Robin Hood.
In the past, Holmes triggered engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. However, a source denied the story to E! News, clarifying that Holmes has owned the ring for “over a year.” And in 2015, Holmes reportedly brought Foxx’s daughter, then 6, to a Beverly Hills sushi restaurant with her own daughter, Suri Cruise. And there are countless other reports of low-key rendezvous between the two.
Holmes may be keeping her love life under wraps, but her style speaks volumes.
