Kendall Jenner Has ‘Magical, Shiny Hair’ According to J-Law’s Stylist

When Kendall Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret debut on Tuesday night, she wore shoes by Brian Atwood, jewelry by Eddie Borgo, and hair by Salon Nine Zero One’s Riawna Capri…aka the woman responsible for Jennifer Lawrence’s blond domination.

“She’s a sweetheart,” Capri told us after coiffing the 20-year-old backstage, “and she knows exactly what she wants: a little more thickness, but she didn’t want any extensions or any length. She wants to look natural, and like herself.” To add a little volume, Capri used a Beachwaver Pro curling iron to make larger curls on Jenner’s hair, then rolled small sections into “mini-buns” pinned gently along the sides and top of her head. After letting the hair set, Capri brushed the curls out for a more natural look, and then Jenner herself did her famous hair flip “to make it more beachy and a bit cooler.”

But now that the show’s over, could Kendall follow Katniss’ lead, and go platinum? “No,” Capri says definitively. “She told me she’s never dyed her hair in her life. She shouldn’t. We didn’t need to put any shine products in it, because it’s such healthy hair, it happens on its own. She has,” laughs Capri, “almost magical hair.”
