The sweltering heat couldn’t stop Tinseltown’s shiniest stars from attending an in-store party to celebrate Salvatore Ferragamo’s 100 years in Hollywood on Wednesday night. Held at the Beverly Hills flagship store, the evening drew Kiernan Shipka, Freida Pinto, Camilla Belle, Demi Moore and her daughters, Tallulah and Scout Willis.
Shipka arrived clad head to toe in the celebrated Italian label. “It’s so rich, but it’s also so timeless and perfect,” she said of the brand. But ever the 15-year-old, Shipka’s fashion talk soon regressed to her favorite Madewell overalls. “I wear them at least four times a week, maybe more,” she admitted. “They are a really really good pair!”
Cody Horn, meanwhile, told reporters that growing up in Los Angeles exposed her to Ferragamo at a very young age, but last night was the first time that she actually got to don the clothes. “This is literally the first time I’m touching any of it,” she said with a laugh. She too soon expounded on her less extravagant treasures including “ a few trench things from All Saints” that she loves to wear.

Model Angela Lindvall’s high-low mix was more high-high as she confided that her at-home attire includes her favorite vintage Chanel jean dress that she wears to work around in her yard. Though the environmental enthusiast confessed that she doesn’t get out to Rodeo Drive very often. “I live up in Topanga so I love that these events help me get out of the house.”
Taking it all in the brand’s creative director, Massimiliano Giornetti, discussed the high-low dichotomy but in relation to Ferragamo’s storied history and the new flagship. “Ideally it’s really like mixing elements from the ’30s – the big glamour after the big Depression that was in America at the time and the mixing with Italian DJs, Italian flavor, and really about the theory of making a new home for Ferragamo in Los Angeles,” he said turning to make his way to dinner.
