Kourtney Kardashian’s Gown Has the Craziest Cutouts ... Oh, and Her Mom and Sister Were Almost Nude
It’s normal to see gowns with cutouts on the sleeves, shoulders, torso, or even back, but the dress Kourtney Kardashian wore to the 2016 Angel Ball hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation For Cancer Research – in honor of her father, Robert Kardashian – last night defied all cutout rules. The strapless flamenco-esque black dress — with bustier top and ruffles from the waist to the floor — featured one big cutout on the back of the skirt. It’s really hard to explain, but we’ll try.
The cutout was a large circle that exposed the backs of her legs and some of the front. In the back, the dress ended right below her butt and the ruffles picked back up around her calves. The back of the gown featured a ruffled tail hanging over her butt to cover it, but the sides of her cheeks were on full display. So from behind, it looked like she was wearing a mini dress and ruffled boots, which would have been equally interesting. In the front, the fabric was cut out, leaving just an hourglass of fabric so you could see the sides of her thighs and knees.
We’ve never seen cutouts like this, but we kind of like it. We can’t imagine it was that comfortable, though — must have been cold back there.
She accessorized with a thin diamond choker and wore her hair straight and down, parted in the middle.
The mother of three attended the event with her sister Khloé and mom Kris. Khloé’s custom Yousef al Jasmi gown was on the opposite end of the light spectrum from Kourtney’s but showed an equal amount of skin. The nude sheer gown had crystal and sequin embellishments. Her goodies were only covered because of strategically placed sparkly bunches (and a pair of nude panties, it appears). Kris met her daughters somewhere in the middle, in a black sheer gown. She also wore custom Yousef al Jasmi that showed plenty of skin, thanks to sheer paneling throughout the different black fabrics covered in sparkles.
Well, that is a lot of sparkle, and even more skin. But we shouldn’t be surprised. They are Kardashians, after all.
