Kylie Jenner Takes a Cutout Cue From Her Sister With Her Recent Outfit
While some of her Instagram followers are calling Kylie Jenner’s look from Marie Claire’s Image Maker Awards “iconic” and “different,” we have to give credit where it’s due: Kourtney Kardashian.
Jenner’s older sister wore a very similar dress to the Angel Ball back in November. The cutouts and ruffles of Jenner’s outfit are almost identical to the ones featured in Kardashian’s black gala gown.
Tuesday, Jenner stepped out in a purple Balmain ensemble from the Spring/Summer 2017 collection; the gown featured oversized cutouts and was covered in ruffles. It looked like two pieces, but a layer of see-through mesh connected the top and bottom, covering her waist, and a zipper connected the two sections in the back.
The massive cutouts on her thighs were also covered with see-through mesh. While the top of Kardashian’s very similar Balmain gown was not ruffled, the skirt was, and the skirt also had exposing mesh-covered cutouts.
This isn’t the first time that Jenner took a style cue from one of her sisters. On Sunday, she and her sister Kendall Jenner wore matching topknots to the Golden Globes afterparty. And Jenner often copies her older sister Kim’s looks — from platinum hair to bodysuits.
Well, it’s been proven: These girls really were cut from the same cloth.
